Artificial-neural-network based unified power flow controller for mitigation of power oscillations

چکیده

The series and shunt control scheme of unified power flow controller (UPFC) impacts the performance stability system during swing. UPFC is most versatile voltage source converter device as it can real reactive transmission simultaneously or selectively. When any subjected to disturbance fault, there are many challenges in damping oscillation using conventional methods. This paper presents neural network-based that replaces proportional-integral (PI) minimize oscillations. artificial network (ANN) evaluated on IEEE 9 bus compared with a PI controller.
